The event brought together leading neurosurgeons and industry experts from around the world to advance the understanding and practice of neurosurgical care. The scientific agenda encompassed a wide range of critical topics in neurosurgery, including open and endoscopic skull base surgery, complex spine surgery, functional neurosurgery, epilepsy treatment, neuromodulation for pain and movement disorders, and neurovascular and endovascular surgery. These sessions provided valuable insights and fostered collaboration among the neurosurgical community.

Zahrawi Group’s Neuro & Spine team showcased Medtronic’s advanced technologies, which included solutions for cranial robotic guidance, robotic-assisted spine surgery, and innovative tools for spinal surgical techniques. These state-of-the-art solutions are designed to enhance surgical precision, efficiency, and patient outcomes.

A key highlight of the event was the Hands-On Cadaveric Workshop, where Zahrawi offered the participants to train on three difference Spine fixation & fusion techniques using latest technologies. The stations included were Oblique Lateral Interbody Fusion using OLIF 25 and Pivox system, Open Fixation with sublaminar decompression using CD-Horizon Solera System, and Posterior Occipito-Cervical Fixation using Infinity System.

Zahrawi Group, in partnership with Medtronic, participated in the Robotic Surgery Collaboration Summit 2024 held at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. This event brought together leading experts and institutions to explore the latest advancements in robotic surgery, focusing on areas such as abdominal wall reconstruction, bariatric surgery, colorectal and gastrointestinal procedures, emergency surgery, hepato-pancreato-biliary techniques, and digital surgery.

The summit provided a platform for sharing knowledge through panel discussions, interactive presentations, and case studies. In addition to clinical advancements, it addressed topics like leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovation in the surgical field, aiming to equip participants with the tools to advance robotic surgery and foster mentorship across the region.

Zahrawi Group’s Surgical team showcased Medtronic’s Hugo™ RAS Platform, Covidien Signia™ stapling devices, and Covidien Sonicision™ at the event. The Hugo™ RAS Platform is a next-generation system designed to enhance precision and flexibility in minimally invasive procedures. The Covidien Signia™ staplers provide adaptive feedback and precision for a range of surgical needs, while the Covidien Sonicision™ cordless ultrasonic dissection tool improves efficiency and precision during surgeries.
