Zahrawi Group’s Neuro & Spine team showcased Medtronic’s advanced technologies, which included solutions for cranial robotic guidance, robotic-assisted spine surgery, and innovative tools for spinal surgical techniques. A key highlight of the event was the Hands-On Cadaveric Workshop, where Zahrawi offered the participants to train on three difference Spine fixation & fusion techniques using latest technologies. The stations included were Oblique Lateral Interbody Fusion using OLIF 25 and Pivox system, Open Fixation with sublaminar decompression using CD-Horizon Solera System, and Posterior Occipito-Cervical Fixation using Infinity System.

This event brought together leading experts and institutions to explore the latest advancements in robotic surgery, focusing on areas such as abdominal wall reconstruction, bariatric surgery, colorectal and gastrointestinal procedures, emergency surgery, hepato-pancreato-biliary techniques, and digital surgery.

The summit provided a platform for sharing knowledge through panel discussions, interactive presentations, and case studies. In addition to clinical advancements, it addressed topics like leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovation in the surgical field, aiming to equip participants with the tools to advance robotic surgery and foster mentorship across the region.

The Hugo™ RAS Platform is a next-generation system designed to enhance precision and flexibility in minimally invasive procedures. The Covidien Signia™ staplers provide adaptive feedback and precision for a range of surgical needs, while the Covidien Sonicision™ cordless ultrasonic dissection tool improves efficiency and precision during surgeries.
