A key highlight of the event was the Hands-On Cadaveric Workshop, where Zahrawi offered the participants to train on three difference Spine fixation & fusion techniques using latest technologies. The stations included were Oblique Lateral Interbody Fusion using OLIF 25 and Pivox system, Open Fixation with sublaminar decompression using CD-Horizon Solera System, and Posterior Occipito-Cervical Fixation using Infinity System.

Zahrawi Group, in collaboration with our esteemed partner EMS, successfully hosted the GDT Summit (Guided DolorClast Therapy) over two dynamic days in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The event commenced at the International Knee & Joint Centre in Abu Dhabi and concluded at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Al Jaddaf, bringing together physiotherapist from across the region.

The summit offered an in-depth course on Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) and Laser Therapy, exploring their clinical applications. The course was led by Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Christoph Schmitz, Chair II of the Department of Anatomy at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany, who provided expert insights into these advanced therapeutic techniques.

The program delivered a comprehensive exploration of ESWT, including its proven efficacy in treating musculoskeletal disorders. Participants engaged in hands-on training, gaining practical experience in addressing various musculoskeletal pathologies. Additionally, the integration of ESWT with Pulsed 905 Laser Therapy was demonstrated through live patient treatments, showcasing the real-world impact of these advanced modalities.
